Troubleshooting error “The operation is not allowed by RBAC…” for Azure Key Vault.

You might be getting this error while trying to access Keys, Secrets and Certificates sections.

“The operation is not allowed by RBAC. If role assignments were recently changed, please wait several minutes for role assignments to become effective.”

Go to “Access control (IAM)”.

Click on Add -> Add role assignment.

On the next screen, select “Key Vault Administrator” role.

Select Member as yourself.

Now you can access Keys, Secrets and Certificates sections.
